28 weeks

We now interrupt our Christmas posting to update you on the pregnancy.

First of all, we can say with 90% assurance that the little guy is Ezra Joseph. Still checking out options, but we both love the name! We looked up it's popularity and since 2004 it has risen about 100 places a year. It is currently #243. We better name him fast before it ends up in the top 100 next year ;-)

Hip pain has actually lessened, and overall I feel great. I didn't weigh myself all week, but finally did this morning (1 day past 28 weeks) and I gained about 2 pounds this week! Yikes! Darn Christmas cookies.

Little feet or hands are sticking farther under my ribs but nothing has been painful yet. He still seems to move mostly at night, or whenever I stop moving.

We started the nursery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell I'm excited! With only 82 days more or less since he is here I was starting to get a little anxious. We just switched the big guest bed out of his room and gave it to Aubri, and made her toddler bed back into a crib. Jose painted the focal wall in a couple of hours, and we moved the changing table in there. It is still really empty (we just ordered his dresser!) and we still need to buy his bedding (we only got the crib sheet). I have a couple of do-it-myself crafts I'm planning on doing and can't wait for it to start coming together more. I get so happy walking up the stairs and seeing it! Aubri is loving her new huge bed and the rearrangement of furniture.

Hopefully we'll decide on a paint color for the other walls and maybe do that this weekend!

I'm so impressed with how much Jose does to help out. You guys are too fun. I love the blue you chose also. Nice and calm. Yipeee! I'm excited for your little bun in the oven. :) Can't wait to see what he looks like. Sending lots of love.
