We had a great family photo session TWO MONTHS ago (I'm a little late!) at Sycamore Mineral Springs. For mother's day we surprised my mom with a gift certificate for Moments Captured photography. My mom has wanted a family portrait for years and years...since the days of khaki and white t-shirts on the beach (We had a tiny glitch when I tried breaking the news to her that those are so outdated). Our photographer Christina met us in the middle and did traditional poses (like my mom wanted) at an alternative location. Because these pictures were so anticipated, I think my entire family was a little on edge to not blow it for my mom. We thought we had to have the right amount of playfulness, seriousness, naturalness...poor Christina, I don't think she had a clue what we were coming into the shoot with! I think they came out great, and now that we realized how easy it really is to book an appointment and how reasonably priced they are I don't think we will wait another 12 years to do it again!
