It took all I had to crawl out of bed this morning! The pregnancy fatigue has hit full force, and unfortunately coincided with a very busy weekend!
Jose reminded me that since we consider our baby to already be a living being, he is already a dad and should be celebrated on Father's Day. So this year I started what will hopefully be a tradition of Father's Day breakfast in bed. I warned him next year he'll have to be juggling a 4 1/2 month old baby while he eats his pancakes and eggs!
I think our baby wanted to remind us that she or he is really here and chose this weekend for me to start feeling nauseous (and exhausted!). As long as I'm eating often I usually feel ok, but every now and then I feel really yucky. It is still not bad enough to make me throw up (though a couple of different times I thought I might) and I get breaks without it so I'm doing fine. Definitely worth it to know our baby is growing and doing what it is supposed to be doing! Jose has definitely picked up the slack. I got to relax as he washed dishes, vacuumed, mopped, did laundry, and best of all gave me massages and played with my hair until I fell asleep. Yup, I think pregnancy symptoms are definitely worth it!
