The entire time I had the baby gender poll, boy was in the lead (I think Jose may have had something to do with that). I think it is crazy that when the poll closed- before the announcement- boy and girl were tied!
Speaking of random, have I talked about food cravings? I don't think my cravings have been any stronger than pre-pregnancy, but there are a few things that always sound good to me!
In the beginning I always wanted toast, applesauce, and potatoes. I think one time Jose and I counted all the ways I had been making potatoes. We had lots of loaded baked potatoes, mashed, scalloped, rosemary flavored, fried... yum potatoes!
Since the early weeks, we have had sushi (don't worry I stick to fully cooked ones right now) at least once a week. Jose and I were never a fans of the ginger or wasabi, but since I've been pregnant, neither of us can get enough!
The other food that always sounds good is pizza! I can be in the mood for pizza anytime!
And finally peaches and nectarines! YUM! It is so good that Jose's grandpa has peach trees literally bending with the weight of the peaches! Plus being summer, I have got some really good deals on nectarines! I always feel like eating a cold nectarine. Even now I'm thinking of the fruit in our fridge at home wishing I could have one.

hi Jose + Marlene. this is joey. we miss you guys, and want to hang out sometime soon. Late Aug + Sept are sort of crazy for us, but one of these days...
